Pegasus cancels Russia flights and issues statement

Pegasus Airlines canceled its overnight flights to Russia for technical and operational reasons, the company said.

In a statement posted on social media, Pegasus said the cancellations covered flights during the night from Sept. 1 to Sept. 2. It added that flights scheduled from Sept. 2 onward would continue as planned.

The airline also said it was planning additional services for passengers whose flights were canceled.

As Pegasus Airlines, following an assessment of our daily operations and all flight routes, flights on our Russia routes during the night connecting Sept. 1 to Sept. 2 were canceled for technical and operational reasons. As of Sept. 2, our flights are continuing as planned, and additional flights are being planned for our guests on the canceled services.
