The discovery, which she had been searching for over many years, was made possible with the help of her husband.

González, who is also a multimedia journalist and a technician in criminology, joined La Nación in 2021. She has contributed to various sections of the newspaper, including Sucesos, Mundo, No Coma Cuento, and Viva, and has also worked with the digital desk team. Her journalistic work has been recognized, including a win in the Documentary category at the RE@CH Media Festival in 2017.
