Pentagon releases new batch of declassified UAP files

The U.S. Department of Defense has publicly released a third collection of declassified Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) files, adding to the growing body of information on unexplained sightings. This latest release includes previously unseen video footage and written documents, offering further insights into encounters reported by military personnel.

Among the newly disclosed materials is a striking video from 2022 showing several spherical objects emerging from and submerging into the sea near a submarine. Written documents within the release contain historical accounts of UAP sightings, notes on Soviet intelligence activities, and reports from the Department of Energy concerning UAPs.

We saw two large spheres (the pilots and I (with the naked eye)) flashing next to each other, near the helicopter – motionless, directly above the right rotor disc. They were oval-shaped, orange with white or yellow centers, and emitted light in all directions.

One particularly compelling document details the experiences of a currently serving "high-ranking intelligence officer" in late 2025. The officer reported "close UAP encounters lasting over an hour" while investigating previous sightings from a military helicopter. The report describes observing "numerous orange spheres" in the distance, "swarming in all directions" against a mountain backdrop, a phenomenon that lasted several minutes before fading.

The officer's report also recounts observing "two large spheres" near the helicopter, hovering motionless. These objects were described as oval-shaped, orange with white or yellow centers, emitting light in all directions. This report, declassified in May, aligns with other eyewitness accounts from the region. The Pentagon maintains that while these phenomena remain unexplained, they do not necessarily indicate extraterrestrial involvement.
