Personnel Changes Announced Across South Korean Ministries

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) has announced a series of personnel changes, including promotions and transfers affecting several key positions. These adjustments aim to reorganize leadership within various divisions and teams, reflecting a broader administrative reshuffling.

Among the notable appointments, Kim Tae-hyun has been promoted to Director of the Advanced Civil-Military Cooperation Division, while Song Ji-hyun will lead the Korea-U.S. Trade Division in a similar capacity. In other divisional changes, Lee Yoon-seop has been appointed as the Team Leader for the Display and Home Appliances Team.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare also saw a departmental change, with Kim Min-jeong taking on the role of Director for Medical Information Policy. Meanwhile, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups has made several transfers for its divisional-level positions, including Park Bo-geun as the Information Officer, Shin Jae-kyung as Director of Global Growth Policy, Kim Jin-han for SME Systems, Woo Chang-hoon for Corporate Restructuring, Lee Ho-jung for Youth Policy, Nam Jeong-ryeong for Special Zone Operations, and Lim Dong-woo for Regional Commercial Areas. Baek Won-hyun has been transferred to the Regional Policy position at the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Small and Medium Business Administration.

These appointments and transfers signal ongoing adjustments within South Korea's government ministries, impacting key policy areas from trade and technology to health and small business support.
