Petah Tikva man accused of raping 5-year-old daughter, sending recordings on Telegram

A resident of Petah Tikva faces serious accusations of repeatedly raping his 5-year-old daughter over a period exceeding one year. The State Prosecutor's office stated on Thursday that the defendant allegedly committed these sexual offenses within the family home, including the daughter's bedroom, and meticulously recorded his actions using his phone.

These recordings were reportedly intended for distribution to another individual via the Telegram app. Further compounding the disturbing allegations, the defendant is accused of seeking online guidance on methods to sedate his daughter before committing the assaults. The investigation uncovered hundreds of pedophilic media files on the defendant's phones, containing images and videos of sexual offenses against young boys, girls, and even babies.

The State Prosecutor's office has charged the man with multiple offenses, including raping a minor family member, indecent acts on a helpless minor under 16 without consent, and possession of obscene material involving minors. Given the severity and nature of the alleged crimes, prosecutors have requested that the defendant be detained in custody until the conclusion of the legal proceedings, opposing his release to house arrest.
