Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has been overwhelmingly endorsed as the sole governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 elections. The affirmation came after a primary election that saw a massive turnout, with 397,370 accredited party faithful participating across all 260 wards in the state. The Enugu State APC Governorship Primary Election Committee, led by Danmalikin Hausa, declared Mbah the undisputed winner, hailing the exercise as peaceful, credible, and a testament to the party's internal cohesion.
