Petroleum minister welcomes major Papua LNG milestones toward final investment decision

Papua New Guinea’s Petroleum Minister Jimmy Maladina has welcomed what he described as major progress on the Papua LNG project.

His comments followed TotalEnergies’ announcement of contractual and commercial milestones for the project. The developments point toward a final investment decision, or FID, for Papua LNG.
