Peugeot gives entry-level 208 and 2008 special editions a design and equipment upgrade

Peugeot has given its entry-level 208 hatchback and 2008 crossover a more distinctive look with new Envy Edition special versions now on sale in Europe. The editions combine exclusive styling with equipment upgrades and offer petrol, hybrid and fully electric powertrains.

Both models use the Allure trim as their foundation. Buyers can choose from several special paint colors at no extra cost. The 208 is available in Alvao Green, Agueda Yellow, Okenite White, Artense Grey, Selenium Grey and Perla Nera Black. The 2008 offers Nazare Blue, Obsession Blue, Okenite White, Artense Grey, Selenium Grey and Perla Nera Black.

The color choices are paired with black exterior details. The 208 receives a gloss-black roof, while the 2008 uses a gloss-black roof rack. Peugeot also fitted the models with distinctive alloy wheels: 16-inch Noma wheels for the 208 and 17-inch Karakoy wheels for the 2008. Both use a geometric design with a matte-black finish and diamond-cut two-tone detailing.

Inside, the Envy Edition models receive sport seats comparable with those in the range-topping GT versions. The seats use exclusive Tremezzo composite upholstery with Opalite blue-green stitching. Matching Peugeot shield emblems appear on the headrests, highlighting the special-edition identity. European prices start at 24,050 euros for the 208 Envy Edition and 30,500 euros for the 2008 Envy Edition.
