PGO Spring 125 offers practical features for female riders: low seat, long cushion for easy mounting, up to NT$12,300 trade-in subsidy

Taiwanese scooter brand PGO is launching a promotional campaign for its Spring 125 model, aiming to capture the female rider market with a limited-time trade-in subsidy of up to NT$12,300. The scooter, priced at NT$99,800, is designed with female riders' needs in mind, emphasizing practicality and safety.

The PGO Spring 125 boasts a romantic and minimalist aesthetic, featuring a Class-C LED headlight for enhanced nighttime visibility. Key design elements catering to female riders include a 740mm wide "sofa" seat, a low seat height, and 305mm of foot space, all contributing to easier mounting, dismounting, and parking. The scooter also offers a generous 22L under-seat storage capacity for daily essentials and a light-assist center stand to reduce effort when maneuvering the vehicle.

Technologically, the Spring 125 is equipped with an LED and LCD smart instrument panel that supports a mobile app. Riders can check vehicle status, maintenance history, and adjust LED ambient lighting colors via their smartphones. The convenience of a Keyless system further simplifies starting the vehicle.

Safety is a priority, with the Spring 125 equipped with both ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and TCS (Traction Control System). ABS helps prevent wheel lock-up during emergency braking, enhancing stability, while TCS mitigates wheel slippage in challenging road conditions, particularly on wet surfaces. These systems work together to bolster everyday commuting safety.

Powering the scooter is a 125cc 4V ROBUST oil-cooled engine with a BOSCH injection system. It delivers a maximum output of 10.88ps, balancing sufficient power for female riders with an impressive fuel efficiency of 42.6 km/l.
