British music icon Phil Collins has opened up about his recent brush with death, revealing he spent seven months in intensive care after a severe health crisis nearly claimed his life. The 75-year-old artist described the ordeal, which began in early 2024, as the most difficult period of his life.

Collins was transferred to a Swiss hospital in critical condition, with his family preparing for the worst as doctors discussed life support. His manager summoned his five children to his bedside. This relapse followed years of psychological pressure and personal issues, including resentment over being unable to drink after treatment.
