While the eyes of the nation are focused on the World Cup, former Dinamo captain Bruno Petković is enjoying a family vacation in Mauritius. His wife, Iva Šarić, a television host and former model, shared idyllic photos from their trip on Instagram, describing the destination as "paradise."

One particularly heartwarming photo shows Petković relaxing on a sandy beach with their young son, Adrian. The images, featuring turquoise waters and palm trees, highlight the family's escape from the intense football fever. Šarić captioned the post simply with "Paradise," indicating how the family is spending their days.

The couple's love story began in late 2019, and they kept their relationship private until Šarić's pregnancy was revealed. Their son, Adrian, was born in April 2021, and they married in December 2023 on Šarić's 35th birthday. Šarić also has two sons, Carlos and Leon, from her previous marriage to footballer Jerko Leko.

Despite not being selected for the current national team squad, Petković remains a significant figure in Croatian football history. He has represented the national team 42 times, scoring 11 goals, and was part of the squads that won bronze at the 2022 World Cup and silver in the 2023 Nations League. After seven years with Dinamo, Petković recently transferred to the Turkish first division club Kocaelispor.
