PHOTOS: APC First-Term Governors Hold Closed-Door Meeting in Kebbi

Governors serving their first term under the All Progressives Congress (APC) convened in Kebbi State for a closed-door meeting at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi. The gathering, referred to as the Progressive First-Term Governors’ Meeting, aimed to deliberate on matters of national significance and internal party issues.

The arrival of His Excellency, the Governor of Sokoto State, Dr Ahmad Aliyu, at the Kebbi State Government House, where APC governors will hold a special meeting to discuss important issues for the development of Nigeria.

The meeting saw the attendance of governors from various states, including Kaduna, Plateau, Ekiti, Delta, Zamfara, Kano, Jigawa, Ebonyi, Edo, Ondo, Kogi, and Sokoto. They were welcomed by the host governor, Nasir Idris, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu. Updates shared via social media indicated discussions would center on Nigeria's development and the APC's agenda.

Uba Sani; Ekiti State, Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji; Plateau State, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang; and Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, at the Kebbi State Government House, where APC governors will hold a special meeting to discuss important issues for the development of Nigeria.

Participants were expected to explore strategies for enhancing intergovernmental cooperation, promoting the party's development objectives, and fostering good governance, sustainable economic growth, and national unity. The outcome of the meeting was anticipated to be briefed to journalists by the Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum.
