Photos reveal Mauro Icardi and China Suárez's luxurious Maldives vacation

Argentine footballer Mauro Icardi has shared intimate photos from his recent getaway to the Maldives with actress María Eugenia "China" Suárez. After spending time in Japan, the couple traveled to the tropical islands for a relaxing vacation on pristine beaches.

Icardi, who had remained silent on social media for several days, decided to publicly share romantic snapshots from their trip. This visit to the Maldives holds significance as it's a place Icardi previously visited multiple times with his ex-wife, Wanda Nara, even admitting it was one of his favorite destinations. Their last trip together there was in 2022, an attempt to reconcile their marriage that ultimately failed.

Adding another layer of familiarity, the couple reportedly stayed at the same luxury hotel on Malé island that Icardi had frequented with Nara. The hotel offers direct access to the Indian Ocean, providing a secluded and opulent setting for their vacation.

Icardi captioned his Instagram post: "The most beautiful paradise was always sharing it with you. Maldives 2026." The photos documented a passionate photoshoot by the sea, a boat trip, and snorkeling with turtles. The couple was accompanied by Suárez's mother, Marcela Riveiro, and her best friend, Marcelo Latorre, mirroring their travel companions from their previous destination in Japan.
