Planifica Madrid Resumes Agenda Updates After El País Reports on Hidden Schedule

Planifica Madrid, a public company, has started to update its online agenda after a four-month hiatus, during which no events, meetings, or projects were recorded. This period of unusual opacity began in April, the same month the company purchased a luxury penthouse in Chamberí.

Until the end of March, the agenda meticulously detailed all company activities, from Christmas basket collections to television appearances. However, from April onwards, the calendar remained blank for months. This lack of updates prompted El País to inquire with a spokesperson for the Presidency department, to which Planifica Madrid reports, but no response was received.

Following the publication of El País's report on the strange lack of transparency, Planifica Madrid began adding events to its calendar piecemeal on Friday. The company is now filling in the details for April and May, listing various meetings with regional authorities, mayors, and companies, as well as a visit to a fire station and a course on the AI tool Copilot.

A key entry now appearing for April 14th, the date the 6.3 million euro penthouse was acquired, is a brief note: "NOTARY SIGNING. 14:00. EXTERNAL." The details specify the location as Calle de Alcalá but omit the building number and participants. The last previously recorded activity before this update was on March 26th, marking the "FIRST STONE FIRE STATION COBEÑA. 11:00."
