PM Shehbaz orders regional tension preparedness, praises public austerity support

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to maintain full preparedness for potential challenges stemming from regional uncertainty, emphasizing the need for a comprehensive strategy to manage economic impacts. During a high-level meeting, officials briefed the premier on the nation's stable economic condition and sufficient petroleum reserves, highlighting effective fuel supply management measures.

Sharif commended the government's timely response in managing fuel supplies, noting that state subsidies protected common citizens, motorcyclists, rickshaw drivers, and transporters from price increases. He ordered strict action against those creating artificial fuel shortages.
