PM to Visit Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan as India Eyes Bigger Role in Central Asia

The Prime Minister of India is set to embark on a visit to Central Asia, with stops in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The primary objective of this tour is to bolster India's strategic engagement and influence within the region. This diplomatic outreach underscores India's growing ambitions to play a more significant role in Central Asia's evolving geopolitical landscape.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Kyrgyzstan. This high-level meeting convenes key regional players, including India, China, Russia, and the Central Asian republics. The summit provides a crucial platform for discussing pressing issues pertinent to regional stability and progress.
