The PNL aims to solidify its position as the leading European center-right party in Romania, drawing on its long history within the European People's Party (EPP) family. The party emphasizes anchoring itself in both national and European values, positioning itself as a builder of future public policies and a serious governing force open to society.

Historically, Romanian liberalism has been credited with building modern Romania and linking the country to the West. The PNL believes these core values, individual dignity, freedom tied to responsibility, a social market economy, subsidiarity, family, community, education, and work, must move from commemorative status to the forefront of political action.

PNL must consolidate itself as the great European party of the Romanian right, with the longest history within the Christian Democratic People's Party family, anchored in national and European values, capable of building public policies for the future, totally open to society and ready to govern seriously.

To achieve this, the PNL plans to translate its values into concrete public policies. This includes developing specific strategies for entrepreneurs and Romanian capital, creating public services that respect citizens, implementing fiscal and social policies that support families, and undertaking serious administrative reform. The party also intends to launch a national campaign to engage professionals and specialists from various fields, recognizing Romania's pool of competent individuals.
