Tadej Pogačar took a significant step towards overall victory in the Tour de France on Saturday, winning the 14th stage and further extending his lead over rival Jonas Vingegaard. Wearing the leader's jersey, the Slovenian rider broke away from competitors, including Vingegaard (Visma), on the final climb and rode solo to the finish line.

This latest victory marks Pogačar's fourth stage win in this year's Tour de France, showcasing his dominance on the mountainous terrain. Vingegaard finished the stage in fourth place, 44 seconds behind Pogačar. The gap in the general classification now stands at a commanding 4 minutes and 30 seconds in Pogačar's favor.
