Pogačar ties Tour de France win record as youngest five-time champion

Tadej Pogačar has cemented his status as a cycling legend, achieving his fifth Tour de France victory and tying the all-time record. The Slovenian rider dominated the 2024 race, wearing the iconic yellow jersey from stage six all the way to the finish line in Paris. This marks his third consecutive win, a feat only achieved by a select few in the 123-year history of the prestigious event.

His main rival, Jonas Vingegaard, who won in 2022 and 2023, was forced to withdraw from this year's race after a crash in stage 15.
