Through intelligence-led efforts, police arrested Vian Muhanguzi, who then provided information leading to the apprehension of other gang members and their hideout in Kigombya Cell. During a search of the hideout, police recovered a significant cache of items, including a Burdizzo, pruning machine, hammer, scissors, six wristwatches, suspected opium, counterfeit currency, 18 SIM cards, and numerous knives. The alleged ringleader, Brian Lubanga, was arrested as investigations expanded.
