Police Inspected Casa Yala Three Times Before Venue Closure

The Public Security Police (PSP) carried out three inspections at the event venue known as Casa Yala prior to its closure. These actions were prompted by a significant number of noise complaints lodged by local residents, indicating a pattern of disturbance.

During their investigations in July, the PSP documented violations and issued several official reports, or "autos." These reports detailed the issues arising from the venue's operations, likely related to the excessive noise levels that had been reported.

Following the police inspections and the subsequent documentation of infractions, the Gaia City Council intervened. The council officially closed Casa Yala, citing a critical deficiency: the venue operated without the necessary permits or licenses required for such establishments.

The closure by the municipal authorities underscores the importance of regulatory compliance for businesses, particularly those that can impact the quality of life for nearby residents through noise pollution.
