Police investigate after pregnant woman pushed to ground in Netherlands

The footage shows a struggle, with pushing and punches exchanged as other officers attempted to control the situation. Subsequent videos show several officers restraining the man on the ground.

Authorities stated that officers were called to the center around 9:15 p.m. following a report of threats and vandalism involving a bladed weapon. The police confirmed they had launched an investigation into the officers' conduct, emphasizing the need to analyze all available footage to understand the sequence of events. A police spokesperson noted that officers acted quickly in a "dynamic and potentially risky situation" to ensure the safety of everyone present.

The 30-year-old man involved in the fight was arrested but later released. Police also reported that, based on current information, the pregnant woman did not sustain any injuries during the incident. The investigation aims to determine if excessive force was used.
