Police probe disappearance of 19-year-old woman in Ekiti

Authorities in Ekiti State have launched an investigation into the sudden disappearance of a 19-year-old woman, Dandam Happiness. The Ekiti State Police Command confirmed the probe on Monday, seeking to establish her whereabouts since she went missing on August 10, 2026.

She left her residence in Ado Ekiti on 10th August, 2026, at about 16.00 hours (4pm), to an unknown destination and has not returned since then.

According to SP Sunday Abutu, the Police Public Relations Officer, Happiness departed her home in Ado Ekiti at approximately 4 p.m. on the specified date. She has not returned or made contact with family or friends since that time, prompting an extensive search effort.

The missing woman is described as being around 4.5 feet tall, with a fair complexion and no tribal marks. She speaks English fluently. Despite the efforts of her relatives and friends, her location remains unknown.
