Police recover 43 stolen fabric rolls and arrest mother and daughter

Police in Cochabamba recovered all 43 rolls of fabric allegedly stolen from a store on Avenida Siglo XX, with the merchandise valued at approximately Bs 83,000. A 40-year-old woman and one of her daughters were arrested.

Authorities were alerted after another family member allegedly told investigators that relatives were involved in the theft. Security camera footage also helped identify suspected participants and locate one of the daughters.

Agents from the Police Specialization Center located the property where the fabric was allegedly being kept. During the search, they recovered the full shipment and found two firearms, according to the police report.

Investigators are still looking for the woman’s husband and other family members allegedly involved. The case has been sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which will continue investigating the circumstances and determine possible responsibility.
