Police release identities of two killed in Trelawny crash

The Trelawny police have identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a motor vehicle crash on the Braco main road on Monday afternoon. The deceased have been named as 25-year-old Alicia Dormer of Westgate Hills and 26-year-old Oneal Henry of Catherine Hall, both residing in Montego Bay, St James.

The incident occurred around 4:50 pm when Henry was driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara with Dormer as a passenger. According to the Constabulary Communication Unit, Henry reportedly lost control of the vehicle. It then collided with a Freightliner motor truck traveling in the opposite direction.

Both Dormer and Henry sustained severe injuries as a result of the impact. They were promptly transported to the Falmouth Public General Hospital, where they were unfortunately pronounced dead. The Trelawny Police Division’s traffic department is currently conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
