The Trelawny police have identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a motor vehicle crash on the Braco main road on Monday afternoon. The deceased have been named as 25-year-old Alicia Dormer of Westgate Hills and 26-year-old Oneal Henry of Catherine Hall, both residing in Montego Bay, St James.

The incident occurred around 4:50 pm when Henry was driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara with Dormer as a passenger. According to the Constabulary Communication Unit, Henry reportedly lost control of the vehicle. It then collided with a Freightliner motor truck traveling in the opposite direction.

Both Dormer and Henry sustained severe injuries as a result of the impact. They were promptly transported to the Falmouth Public General Hospital, where they were unfortunately pronounced dead. The Trelawny Police Divisionโ€™s traffic department is currently conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
