Police Shoot Man Threatening Passersby with Knife in German Park

Police in Laubach, Germany, were forced to fire on a man who was allegedly threatening pedestrians with a knife in a local park. The incident occurred in the Schlosspark area of the Landkreis Gießen.

According to police reports, officers responded to a call from a passerby who reported being threatened with a long knife. Upon locating the suspect in the park, officers first attempted to subdue him using a Taser-like electroshock device. When this proved unsuccessful, they resorted to using a firearm.
