Porsche to sell consulting firm MHP to India's TCS

Porsche is divesting its wholly-owned subsidiary, MHP, a management and IT consulting firm based in Ludwigsburg, Germany. The automaker announced on August 24, 2026, that it has signed an agreement to sell MHP to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an Indian IT services provider and part of the Tata Group.

This move marks a significant step for Porsche as it aims to concentrate on its primary business operations. MHP, which Porsche fully acquired over two and a half years ago after initially taking a stake in 1998, serves approximately 300 clients across various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, and the public sector. The firm specializes in strategy and IT transformation.

In 2025, MHP reported a revenue of approximately 743 million euros and employs over 4,500 people. The sale is subject to approval from regulatory authorities. Neither Porsche nor TCS has disclosed the financial terms of the transaction. TCS offers IT services, consulting, and technology solutions, further integrating its capabilities with MHP's client base.
