Portable loses Okocha rematch at Lagos fight night

Street-pop singer Portable suffered his second defeat in a celebrity boxing match on Friday, losing by disqualification to Nollywood actor Charles Okocha. The rematch, titled “Unfinished Business,” headlined the Chaos in the Ring fight night in Lagos.

The bout descended into chaos when the fighters engaged in a wrestling-like scuffle, overwhelming the referee's ability to separate them. As the bell rang to end the round, Portable exited the ring amidst the confusion, prompting boos from the audience. He was later brought back and disqualified.

This defeat marks Portable's second loss in the ring, following his earlier loss to Carter Efe by unanimous decision on May 1 at the same venue.

The event also featured other boxing matches, including Basit Adebayo stopping Said Chino and Suleiman Jafaru knocking out Samuel Antwi. Michael Babalola maintained his unbeaten record, while Shiloh Defreitas and Yusuf Adeniji secured wins by unanimous decision. An influencer bout between Idowest and Mr Real ended in a draw.
