Portuguese and Turkish clubs join race for Darío Osorio

Chilean international Darío Osorio remains a subject of intense transfer speculation, with clubs in Portugal and Turkey reportedly vying for his signature. Osorio's future at FC Midtjylland is uncertain amid growing interest from several European teams. Benfica, one of Portugal's most successful clubs, has placed the young talent on its transfer list, reportedly at the specific request of coach Marco Silva, who had been tracking him since his time at Fulham. Adding to the competition, Turkish club Trabzonspor has also emerged as a contender for the Chilean midfielder. According to Turkish sports portal Aspor, Trabzonspor has identified Osorio as a potential "Plan B." Their primary target is Argentinian prospect Gianluca Prestianni, but negotiations for him are reportedly facing financial hurdles, with Benfica demanding a substantial initial payment. This potential roadblock in the Prestianni deal could open a clearer path for Osorio to move to the Turkish club.
