Post-World Cup Break Over, Two Croatian Stars Return to Their Clubs

Croatian internationals Ante Budimir and Luka Sučić have concluded their post-World Cup holidays and rejoined their Spanish clubs, Osasuna and Real Sociedad, respectively. Both players are key figures in La Liga and are now preparing for the upcoming season.

Striker Budimir is in Pamplona and will join Osasuna's training sessions on Monday. The team is set to travel to England for pre-season friendlies against Ipswich Town and Norwich City. Budimir's last match was on July 3rd, when Croatia lost to Portugal at the World Cup. Osasuna, last year's Copa del Rey winners, are also preparing in England.

Attacking midfielder Sučić returned to San Sebastian last week alongside Japanese international Takefusa Kubo. However, neither player featured in Real Sociedad's preparatory match against Wolverhampton on Saturday, and they are unlikely to play against Aston Villa on Tuesday. Although they traveled with the squad, the coaching staff has decided they will train individually during match days. They are scheduled to join full team training on Sunday and Monday to gradually improve their physical condition.

Meanwhile, Croatian goalkeeper Dinko Horkaš might be on the move from second-division club Las Palmas. Local media reports indicate significant interest from Scottish giants Celtic, following his strong performances last season.
