Powerball jackpot reaches $905M for tonight's drawing as prize surges

While no one has won the jackpot since two tickets split a $20 million prize on May 2, four tickets matched five white balls in Saturday's drawing, each winning $1 million. Powerball tickets are sold in 45 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Recently, ticket sales expanded to the U.K., though these tickets only qualify for the main jackpot.

The odds of winning the grand prize remain steep at 1 in 292,201,338. The next drawings are scheduled for Wednesday and Saturday, with the potential for even larger jackpots if the prize remains unclaimed.
