Prabowo Meets US ASEAN Envoys to Discuss Regional Stability

President Prabowo Subianto received the United States ambassador to ASEAN, Kevin Kim, and US Mission to ASEAN Chargé d’Affaires Joy M. Sakurai at his private residence in Hambalang, West Java, on Saturday afternoon, September 5.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the meeting addressed ways to expand cooperation between Indonesia and the United States. The discussions included efforts to promote cooperation and stability across the region.

The meeting formed part of continued efforts to strengthen the relationship and strategic partnership between Jakarta and Washington. Teddy said the partnership should rest on mutual respect and equality.

The meeting also discussed various efforts to increase cooperation between the two countries, including promoting cooperation and stability in the region, as well as strengthening relations between the two countries based on the principles of mutual respect and equal partnership.
