Prashant Kishor declares assets worth ₹105 crore ahead of key Bankipur contest

Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, has declared substantial assets exceeding ₹105 crore ahead of the Bankipur Assembly by-election. His nomination papers, filed on Monday, reveal gross assets of ₹105.18 crore and liabilities amounting to ₹5.78 crore.

Kishor's wife, Jahanvi Das, reported even higher assets, totaling approximately ₹112 crore with liabilities of ₹55.38 lakh. Their son, Daibik Bharadwaj, possesses movable assets valued at ₹7.19 lakh. Kishor's income sources are listed as business, profession, bank deposit interest, and dividends, while his wife's income stems from consultancy, rental income, and similar financial activities.

Kishor, who is also a political advisor and consultant, faces eight pending legal cases. These cases involve charges such as unlawful assembly, rioting, and obstructing public servants in their duties. His wife's profession is listed as MBBS and senior advisor for special projects at Apollo Indraprastha Hospital in New Delhi.
