Preparations for Nomad Games: Temporary traffic restrictions in Bishkek

Bishkek residents and visitors should be aware of temporary traffic disruptions scheduled for August 22 as the city prepares for the VI World Nomad Games. The closures are necessary to facilitate the final rehearsal for the Games' opening ceremony, which will be held at the "Bishkek Arena" stadium.

From 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on August 22, several key streets surrounding the stadium will have their traffic flow restricted. These include Aaly Tokombaev Avenue between Chortokov Street and Barpy Alykulov Street; D. Kuyukova Street between Chortokov Street and Mahatma Gandhi (Muromskaya) Street; Er-Tailak Street between Chortokov Street and Archa-Beshik Street; and Mahatma Gandhi Street between Aaly Tokombaev Avenue and Akhunbaev Street.

Authorities are requesting the understanding and cooperation of the public during this period. They acknowledge that these temporary restrictions may cause inconvenience and extend their apologies for any disruption to daily commutes and travel plans.
