Preschool-aged child in hospital with serious injuries, man faces assault charge

A 39-year-old man faces an aggravated assault charge following an incident that left a preschool-aged child with serious injuries and requiring hospitalization. Winnipeg police were alerted on Monday after the child was transported to the hospital.
