Chilean President José Antonio Kast publicly thanked Natalia Duco for her commitment, loyalty, and tireless work as Sports Minister. Duco departed the ministry during a cabinet reshuffling ceremony at La Moneda.

Kast welcomed Francisco Riveros Cantuarias, who will now lead the Sports Ministry. Reflecting on Duco's tenure, the president recalled early conversations before her appointment. He acknowledged that mistakes happen and that while some rules in Chile are demanding, they must be applied.

"There are times when we can make a mistake, and there are rules in our country that are very demanding in certain areas, sometimes almost incomprehensible, but they are the rules that govern us today and that we have stated must be applied," Kast said. He added that such errors are ones "anyone can make."
