"Korea Street," spanning approximately 600 meters, was recently approved by local authorities following efforts by the Chilean Korean Association. This initiative, coupled with the establishment of "Seoul Street" in 2022, creates a significant symbolic space celebrating the historical connections and contributions of the Korean community in Chile.

During their visit, the presidential couple toured the area, stopping by Korean restaurants and shops.
