President Lee: Sejong presidential office era to open within term

President Lee Jae-myung declared his administration's goal to establish a presidential office in Sejong City before the end of his term, emphasizing that even the final cabinet meeting should be held there. Lee stressed the importance of consolidating Sejong's role as a symbol of balanced national development. He called for concentrated efforts to ensure the stable relocation of key state functions to the city. The administration plans to expedite the construction of the presidential office and the National Assembly building in Sejong, ensuring that related infrastructure development proceeds without disruption.
