President's Cup 3x3 Basketball Tournament Adds Adult and Para Divisions, Offers $93,000 Prize Pool

Taiwan's basketball community is gearing up for the 2026 President's Cup 3x3 Basketball Tournament, with preliminary rounds set to commence in mid-July. Organized by the Sports Administration of the Ministry of Education, the tournament is now open for registration, which will close once capacity is reached.

A significant expansion for this year's event is the introduction of new divisions catering to adult and para-athletes, broadening the competition's inclusivity. These new categories will run alongside the established divisions, offering more opportunities for diverse groups of players to compete.

The tournament aims to foster grassroots basketball development and offers substantial incentives, with a total prize pool of NT$2.94 million (approximately $93,000 USD). Winning teams from the various regional preliminaries will advance to the national finals, promising an exciting showcase of talent and sportsmanship.
