Presidential Secretary Lee Seong-hoon Appointed New Head of Korea Land and Housing Corporation

Lee Seong-hoon, previously serving as the presidential secretary for land, infrastructure, and transport, has been appointed as the new president of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH). This appointment fills a significant leadership vacancy within the public housing and land development entity.

The position of LH president has remained vacant for the past eight months, following the resignation of the former president, Lee Han-joon, in October. The prolonged absence of a permanent leader has left a notable gap in the corporation's top executive role.

President Lee Jae-myung officially approved the appointment of Secretary Lee Seong-hoon on Tuesday. The new president is scheduled to assume his duties and be inaugurated on Wednesday. Lee Seong-hoon brings a background in public service, having passed the technical civil service examination in 1996.
