Prime Minister Bolojan Attends Neurosurgery Center Inauguration in Cluj, Cites Personal Connection

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan participated in the inauguration of the new Neurosurgery and Cerebrovascular Pathology Center at the Cluj-Napoca Emergency Clinical Hospital on Saturday, August 29. During the event, he lauded the achievements of the Cluj medical school and the work of Professor Ștefan Florian.

The Prime Minister highlighted Cluj's significance as a regional medical center, acknowledging the specialists who handle complex cases from across Transylvania. He also underscored the city's importance as a "locomotive for Romania's development," noting that the country's progress is often centered around key urban hubs.

Looking ahead, Bolojan stressed the need to complete the center's functionality by acquiring the necessary equipment and medical supplies. He expressed his hope that the team led by Dr. Florian would soon be able to work under optimal conditions. "Without investments, without equipment, we cannot expect quality medicine in the coming years," Bolojan concluded, emphasizing the critical link between infrastructure and healthcare standards.
