A school in the Cotswolds has sent parents a special privacy and photography letter as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepare to return to life in Britain with their children.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left royal duties in 2020 and moved to the United States. Six years later, they have returned to the United Kingdom, with their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, expected to begin their education in the country.

According to information relayed by royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, school officials in the affluent rural Cotswolds area warned parents that some families joining the school could attract intense media attention. Parents and caregivers were reminded not to photograph or film other children without permission, and not to post photographs, information or details about pupils or their families on social media.

The letter said the measures were intended to ensure that all children could continue their education in a safe and private environment. The reported guidance reflects the concern surrounding the arrival of young members of the royal family, whose privacy has become a central issue for the schools involved.

The couple reportedly plans to move from their Montecito mansion to the Cotswolds. Harry is believed to want to remain close to his father, King Charles, who is undergoing cancer treatment, and to help his children build a relationship with the royal family. The chosen area is near the king’s residence but around two hours by car from Windsor, where Prince William and his family live. Harry has a distant relationship with his older brother.
