Producers' Road Renewed in Sarıgöl Before Grape Harvest

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality is enhancing transportation infrastructure in Sarıgöl, a region vital for agricultural output, by renovating key roads used by local producers. The ongoing work focuses on a roughly 6-kilometer stretch connecting the Yeşiltepe, Bahadırlar, and Tekeliler neighborhoods.

Our grape is one of Sarıgöl's most important sources of livelihood. It is of great importance that our producers can safely reach their vineyards and the roads where they will transport their products during the harvest season. We are facilitating the transportation of our producers with the work we are carrying out on the approximately 6-kilometer route connecting our Yeşiltepe, Bahadırlar, and Tekeliler neighborhoods. We will continue to work for the farmers of Manisa and remove obstacles to agricultural production.

This initiative is particularly crucial for the upcoming grape harvest season, which sees a significant increase in vehicle traffic. By improving the road surface with a new coating, the municipality aims to ensure smoother and safer transit for producers as they access their vineyards and transport their crops. The project is part of a broader effort to support the region's agricultural economy.

Manisa Metropolitan Mayor Besim Dutlulu emphasized the importance of supporting producers, stating, "Our grape is one of Sarıgöl's most important sources of livelihood. He added that they will continue to work for the farmers of Manisa and remove obstacles to agricultural production.

The harvest time for our grapes has come. We are with our farmer. We are doing a surface coating work between Yeşiltepe, Bahadırlar, and Tekeliler neighborhoods so that our farmer can reach his vineyard and field more easily. I thank our Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Besim Dutlulu on behalf of my Sarıgöl citizens for the services he has provided and will provide.

Sarıgöl Mayor Tahsin Akdeniz echoed these sentiments, assuring farmers of their support. "We are doing a surface coating work between Yeşiltepe, Bahadırlar, and Tekeliler neighborhoods so that our farmers can reach their vineyards and fields more easily," he said, thanking Mayor Dutlulu for his services. Local neighborhood head Mustafa Keşkekoğlu also expressed gratitude for the timely road renewal before the harvest.
