Professor Alleges Irregularities in Belgrade Medical Faculty Dean Election, Seeks Court Intervention

Professor Vesna Bjegović Mikanović, a candidate for dean at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Medicine, has voiced concerns over alleged irregularities in the election process. She stated that a warning issued by Rector Vladan Đokić, which highlighted these issues, is being discredited. Mikanović suggested that this discrediting effort might be an attempt to push for the faculty's separation from the university.

According to Mikanović, the situation warrants judicial intervention. She expressed her expectation that the Higher Court will issue a temporary measure to halt the current proceedings.
