Protests Rock Tindouf Camps, Pressure Mounts on Polisario Leadership

Simultaneous protests have erupted in the Tindouf camps in Algeria, placing significant pressure on the leadership of the Polisario Front. Residents of the camps held two separate demonstrations over the weekend, voicing strong discontent regarding social and humanitarian issues.

The protests are characterized by sharp criticism directed at the separatist group's leadership, with a particular focus on its leader, Brahim Ghali. Demonstrators are questioning the management of camp affairs under his administration.

These demonstrations followed closely on the heels of Ghali's return from Algeria. He had participated in the opening of the 14th session of the Summer University in the city of Boumerdes.
