PSG announces signing of Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco

Paris Saint-Germain has secured the signing of French attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco, officially announcing the transfer on Thursday evening. The 24-year-old has committed to a contract with the Parisian club that runs until 2031, marking a significant addition to their squad.

Akliouche, who represented France at the World Cup, will wear the number 11 jersey for PSG. His arrival is considered the first major signing for the club, which has also brought in young Italian goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni. The transfer reportedly cost PSG 50 million euros, including bonuses, according to French sports publications L’Équipe and Le Parisien.

In his final season with Monaco, he contributed seven goals and eleven assists across all competitions, building on the previous season's record of seven goals and twelve assists in 43 matches.
