PSG in talks with Leipzig to buy Ivory Coast star Diomande

Paris Saint-Germain is actively pursuing Ivory Coast forward Yan Diomande, engaging in talks with German club RB Leipzig to secure his transfer. A source close to the negotiations confirmed to AFP that the 19-year-old player has informed Leipzig of his wish to join the French giants.

Diomande, who is under contract with Leipzig until 2030, has conveyed his strong interest in signing for PSG this summer. His potential arrival at the Parc des Princes is seen as PSG's first major move in the current transfer window. The transfer is expected to be a significant one, marking PSG's ambition in the market.

This potential signing could also trigger a departure from PSG, with Portuguese forward Goncalo Ramos reportedly nearing a move to Italian club AC Milan. PSG has reportedly reached a deal with the Italian outfit for Ramos, whose transfer is estimated to be around 74 million euros, potentially rising to 90 million euros with bonuses.

Diomande, born in Abidjan, previously spent a short period at Spanish club Leganes and has played for Leipzig for one season, scoring 12 goals in the Bundesliga. He is currently preparing for Ivory Coast's World Cup match against Norway.
