PSV Youngster Bajraktarević Eyes Move Amidst German Interest

Esmir Bajraktarević, a promising 21-year-old winger for Dutch club PSV, is reportedly looking to leave in search of more playing time. Bajraktarević, who has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina internationally, has struggled to break into the PSV first team this season.

He has accumulated only 14 minutes across four appearances in the current campaign, often finding himself behind established players such as Ivan Perišić. In the last two matches, he was not even included in the squad. Recognizing the importance of consistent game time for his development, Bajraktarević is prepared to explore options elsewhere.

Several German clubs have expressed interest in the young attacker. Eintracht Frankfurt is rumored to be considering a one-year loan deal with an option to purchase him permanently next summer. Other Bundesliga clubs, including Schalke and Werder Bremen, are also reportedly monitoring his situation. PSV, however, is reluctant to sell, given his contract runs until 2029 and they acknowledge his talent.

Last season, Bajraktarević showed flashes of his potential, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 28 appearances in the Dutch league. However, he often came off the bench, accumulating just 1,062 minutes on the field. For the Bosnian national team, he has scored one goal in 20 appearances.
