Puerto Montt tops Copa Chile group after defeating Concepción

Deportes Puerto Montt has asserted dominance in Group H of the Copa Chile, securing a 2-0 victory over Deportes Concepción. This win propels the team to the top of the group standings with 7 points, marking their first triumph in the tournament.

Emilio Mancilla's squad showcased their strength with a spectacular goal from Salvador Negrete in the 46th minute, followed by a decisive strike from Venezuelan player Reiner Castro in the 61st minute. These goals were enough to seal the win and the crucial three points.

The victory allows Puerto Montt, known as "El Delfín," to overtake Deportes Temuco, who previously held the lead with 5 points. Deportes Concepción now sits in third place with 4 points, while Huachipato is at the bottom of the group with 3 points.
