PX Mart Partners with Tai-Cheng, Boosting Pork Production with AI Technology

PX Mart and its parent company have joined forces with Tai-Cheng to launch exclusive 'Hao Xin Zhu' pork products, tapping into the upcoming peak seasons of the Ghost Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. Tai-Cheng recently showcased its Pingtung Xinle plant, a facility representing an investment of nearly NT$3 billion (approximately $92 million USD). This plant boasts Asia's most advanced 3D scanning AI robotic arm slaughter line, significantly enhancing production capacity by nearly threefold.

Last year, 'Hao Xin Zhu' pork products generated over NT$60 million (approximately $1.85 million USD) in sales at PX Mart. These products now account for over 40% of PX Mart's total pork sales. The range includes five frozen and three seasoned items, with the parent company offering 18 chilled varieties, catering to diverse culinary needs from hot pot and grilling to stir-frying and ready-to-eat meals.

PX Mart observes a consistent growth in meat sales, particularly during the Mid-Autumn Festival. To capitalize on this, PX Mart will collaborate with the renowned Kaohsiung restaurant LA ONE in September. Together, they will introduce a line of seasoned pork products featuring Tai-Cheng pork, including "Garlic Cajun Pork Loin Slices," "American BBQ Pork Loin Slices," "Honey Teriyaki Pork Belly Slices," and "French Caramelized Pork Collar Slices." This collaboration is projected to boost pork sales by over 10% during the festival period.

The new Pingtung Xinle plant operates with five AI robotic arms, a smart hook system, and an automated weighing and grading line. This intelligent production system can process up to 450 pigs per hour, with a daily maximum capacity of 3,000 pigs, exceeding 500,000 pigs annually. This efficiency boost nearly triples production output, improving cutting precision, food safety, supply stability, and occupational safety. Processed 'Hao Xin Zhu' products can reach PX Mart's logistics center within 1.5 hours, ensuring a complete cold chain from factory to store.
